Hubbard Park Engagement Photos | Chris + Alivia get married

Meet Chris and Alivia.

They are one of the nicest neighbors I have ever had! They have big hearts, hearts for love; they would always offer me food, and Lord knows, that is the way to my heart. (Tim knows that too haha). This couple also loves God and inspires us with their dedication to each other, being best friends first! They are also so darn cute together. Fun Fact: Chris styled their outfits for their engagement session photoshoot. WIN!

These two had a beautiful Fall wedding reception at Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven , and they were blessed with glorious rains! They say it’s good luck, but for us, as Christians, we know that Water is an important symbol of Renewal. So, Chris and Alivia, may everyday be blessed with showers of Renewal, as you continue on your journey of Life together, seeking the Love of Christ first, for God’s Love knows no end. May your Love grow with every day, as you appreciate each other more, and care for each other’s soul, welcoming all of life’s little and big adventures, always together. Amen.

Readers, we hope you enjoy some of our favorite images from Chris and Alivia’s Engagement Photo Session in Hubbard Park, Meriden, Connecticut.

Family Portraits in The Cloisters, Fort Tryon Park, New York City

Happy Fall everyone!

We are happy to welcome a fruitful season in our lives: as a couple, as individuals, and as a business. We are wrapping up our First Fall Mini sessions!! (super exciting), and recruiting now for Christmas Portraits as well (be sure to check your email for your special promo code; Don't receive our emails yet? Let's change that!).

Now, we are trying our hand at portrait photography for individuals and we are excited to finish those images to share with you! In the meantime, we still are really in love with the family dynamic: we care about families so much, because, hey, they are the beginning of our world, right? Families are so important, and as we get so close to Thanksgiving (Happy Thanksgiving!!), we are continually reminded of how grateful we are for our families that we have photographed, and our families that surround us on a day-to-day basis.

Let's keep it real, of course, families can be very challenging. This can be true with all sorts of personalities in the family, and for many other reasons (and both Tim and Steph can confirm that their own families are NO WHERE near perfect). However, we choose Love every day. We choose to Love our families and we are so grateful for them--in the good times and bad. This Thanksgiving, we hope to keep big smiles and hearts full of love. Please join us in choosing Love for our families!

We hope to keep up our big smiles and happy hearts like this beautiful boy, and his awesome family! Cheers to where it all starts: Love.

What are good ways for you to keep a happy home (especially when the tough times roll around)? Please leave us your comments and help all families succeed!

Sweet Girl turns 5! A Special Birthday Photoshoot | The Cloisters, Fort Tryon Park, NYC

We are finishing up photos from two very special photoshoot sessions for a very special and sweet, little girl, Isabella. This little princess has the biggest heart of any five year old we know (so far)! She is so brave, as she witnessed Tim's health scare this past summer--and it was her sweet smile that helped Steph keep her composure to make sure that Tim could get to a hospital safely.

Needless to say, it is still an episode that has left it's mark on our relationship and something we are so grateful to have gotten through, together. And this family will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Fun fact: Sweet Isabella made Tim the cutest get-well note, and we look forward to framing it and hanging it in our studio office in the future! It will always be a special reminder of Love and Hope for us.

For the first part, we began with some shade in the trees, moving over to a wonderful path with beautiful flowers while the kids got to play, running and blowing bubbles. On the second part, we began again in the lovely flower path, moving to end the session with fun on the playground. The kids did great and the parents rocked it too (more to come)!

Here are some of our favorite images from their beautiful birthday photography session!
