Our #Scenescerity Promise | Mission Statement

February has been a great month for growth--both as individuals, as couples, and as partners. I have pursued additional education to expand opportunities for direct community impact, and Tim has received new and promising work opportunities, as well. We both know that much more awaits--our Faith is keeping us going--and so, both of us are excited to see what life has in store for us!

On our first trip, heading from the hustle and bustle of NY to the Sunny Scenes of California! Tim knocked out pretty early into the flight

As a couple with marriage as the goal, we are constantly learning how important forgiveness is, how necessary it is to communicate and keep learning how to communicate better, and how much we continue to grow in love for each other. This is also really exciting and we are so eager to embark on the journey of life together. With that, our individual passions converge here: photography, visual arts and digital production. After already long work days--sometimes over 12 hours--any free time is used for learning more about our craft and our business. Most importantly, we seek to continue learning more about how to uphold professionalism for the communities and people we serve: for the families, couples, and local artists and entrepreneurs.

With this in mind, we want to clearly express our #Scenescerity Promise to you. As a professional photography and imaging service, we uphold the highest honor when being invited to capture the sincerity of your scenes. This is our #scenescerity. We are in this line of work because we both understand how important photographs are--in capturing the moments that matter, the expressions in time, the beauty in the everyday and the beauty in the milestones.

Here's a picture of a picture of me (7) and my beautiful sister (less than 1).

As the eldest in my family, I began taking pictures when I was fourteen years old. That means there were fourteen years of my life that weren't properly documented--but more than that, that means there were seven years of my younger sister's life that I didn't freeze in time. I would give almost anything to go back and be able to capture more moments, for us to look back at now--when she first had tummy time, when she first sat upright, to her first steps, and first day of school. These moments are so important, and as my memory fades, I will try my best to fight and hold onto them. However, I know that photographs are a beautiful gift--to help us remember and relish in the reality that was, while realizing how remarkable it all is,  still to this day.

As we continue in our work, I will do my best to capture our special moments, because after the moments pass, our memories and photographs will be all we have left.

If you understand this sentiment, then this is also our promise to you.

We will serve you in the best way we know how: with sincerity, with care and diligence, and with a passion for creating beautiful and meaningful images that will last for the years to come.
